Winter Wonderland Wreath

So I figured it out. My computer problem. Eeek! Which excites me because that means I get to share all of my most recent projects with you. I was getting no where with my two computers so I pulled out my dusty old college laptop and crossed my fingers that it would allow my photos to be uploaded to it.
It did! But it is an ancient old slow thing and so what should have taken me 15 minutes of photo editing took me close to 45 minutes. That is ok because I am really excited about this wreath. Once I edited them, I had to put them on a zip drive and then load them onto a different computer, one that runs at lightening speed. So to sum it up, I have pictures! Score!
Remeber my wreath from last year? Well, as much as I loved it, this year, my feelings had changed. While searching around on Centsational Girl's website I saw the winter wreath that she created. Inspired by that I decided to create one of my own.
While I was at Walmart last week I discovered that they had grapevine wreaths for 3.50. Boy was I excited. So I scooped one up and brought it home. I was inspired by the tree outside of our house, I am not sure what it is called but I went out with my kitchen sissors and sniped myself a bunch of branches.

Our beautiful tree.

Once they were cut, I slide them into the wreath. Then I took it outside and spray painted it Metallic Silver (by the way, my favorite new color to use.)

All spray painted and ready to be emblished. Notice how little snow there is, yeah, by this evening there is about 3 inches on the ground already.

The silver emblishments I picked up from JoAnn's. 60% off, thank you! Once I placed them all around the wreath, I took the wreath outside and sprayed with some fake snow (which I picked up at the local thrift store for 1.50.) Then I hung it on the door and admired it.

It is exceptionally large but I LOVE IT! My Christmas color scheme is red, gold and silver and this fit in perfectly.

Is it not fabulous! Makes me think of a winter wonderland.

What are you doing to get ready for Christmas?
