Good morning Blog World!
I hope that everyone had a fantastic Monday!
Today I would like to show you my newest creation! My wreath stand. Megan from A Little Knick Knack had one and I thought that I would try one out myself.
While browsing through a thrift store what did I happen upon? These lovely chair legs! All for 2 bucks! I couldn't believe it! I was relieved that I didn't have to buy a chair and take it apart. They even came with screws at the top (not pictured) so I didn't have to do anything!
So I took them home and started working on them. I primed them, spray painted them white, distressed them, and then used some stain to distress them more. Then I purchased just a wood plaque at Micheal's to which I did the same. I got out my power tools and drilled holes in the plaque for the leg and then a hole in the leg for the hook.
Now I decided that I didn't want a hook but I thought a fun knob would work and since I had a lot from my buying spree at Micheal's I dug through them until I found one that work.
In the end I got this
I am really happy with the way it turned out! Now I have a lovely wreath stand to house all my holiday festivities.
Even,
a Fall wreath!
Check out my side bar for link parties I joined!
I couldn't imagine what this would look like.. I love it. So cute. I have never seen a wood wreath stand only iron. I really like yours.

ReplyDeleteHey there! Love your wreath stands! just attempted a few of my own! I LOVE not having to have a door to hang a wreath from! I love your fall wreath too! Might just have to borrow this idea because I still have one wreath hanger with nothing to hang from it! This is sooo pretty!
